Went out on Lake Greenwood the other day. Great day to be out on the water. Not much wind and fairly calm water. Didn't get real serious with the fishing due to it being my first real trip in my new Prowler. I took a bucket of shiners out towards the dam to see if I would have any luck. It was also my first time trying out my new fishfinder. I'm not used to lake fishing or using live bait. I tried drifting two lines over the main river channel towards the dam with no luck. Hooked something big though but it spit the hook I guess. Decided to anchor for a while and threw my bait towards some sunken trees and I hooked into a decent sized long nose gar. Overall I gotta say I had a great day out on the water and can't wait to get back out. Here's a few pics for you to look at. Let me know where you like to kayak fish, whether it's in the great state of South Carolina, or elsewhere. Do you like to fish with live bait or artificials? Thanks for looking guys and thanks for checking out the forum.
